AA matched some natural resources to the products ready for human consumption. AA then created an outline of the US and glued some actual items like peanuts, popcorn, cotton, etc. to the geographic area such items are found. Fun hands-on activity. He also needed to select one product and research more about it. Moving Beyond the Page 6-8 – Concept 1, Unit 1, Lesson 10: Communities Change Today we studied the meaning of history, natural resource and human resource. We learned how communities change as time goes on. MBtP selected the classic book “The Little House” by Virginia Lee Burton to convey the idea of change over time. It was a delightful story. AA couldn’t help feel the emotion of the little house’s transformation: From being at a core of a lovely rural area to finding herself crammed into a crack of a buzzing city full of high rises, metrorails and hurried people.
