After reading the book “Creative Home Schooling – A Resource Guide for Smart Families” by Lisa Rivero, I learned a great deal about homeschooling an inquisitive, intelligent child. There are so many resources available out there. I am grateful that Ms. Rivero has put them all together for families new to this wonderful experience of educating our own. I shall gradually share some of the resources and other tips I learned. For now, I am including a summary of the words that stimulate higher-thinking (I added a few of my own.) I certainly want my child to use his sharp mind to stretch far beyond just memorization -and even understanding- of facts and rules. Having this handy list will surely prove helpful when going over our daily learning adventure:
