Moving Beyond the Page 6-8 – Concept 1, Unit 3, Lesson 9: Comparing Living Things
Today we compared living things. We looked at a chart and selected what plants, animals and humans need to live and completed sentences about such things. We created a venn diagram that had AA and his favorite animal similarities and differences in what they need to live. Drew and colored pictures of several living things needed to live. Lastly, we wrote sentences with the unit’s spelling words. Overall this lesson seemed shorter than usual.

Today we learned about the Eights Facts. We first learned how to add 8 to a number using the abacus so that we can quickly see the result and not count as usual. Then we completed a worksheet to practice further. As always, RightStart Math makes Math learning fun!
