We visited Dinosaur World today located in Florida City, approximately half way between Tampa and Orlando.  We had been wanting to go there ever since we finished our unit study on dinosaurs a couple of months or so ago. We really enjoyed this park, it was extremely well kept, very clean, not too crowded at all.  It had a great deal of natural shade since the dinosaurs are tucked amongst nice, tall trees to simulate, I suppose, the jurassic, cretaceous, etc. eras that had lots of vegetation.  AA had the opportunity to do a fossil dig, where he found a shark’s tooth, a fossilized ammonite, and another prehistoric creature’s tooth.   We then enjoyed a nice stroll around the park.
