Today we learned about different traditions around the world and how many of these traditions are related to religious holidays. We reviewed the celebrations of Thanksgiving, Christmas, the 4th of July and other holidays that have special meaning to people in the community.

We continue to study and understand multiplication using the abacus and other props. Today AA was able to put together the equation 13 + 13 = 26, and its equivalent 13 x 2 = 26 using his beloved Thomas the Tank train and his friends. Arranging them visually as RS likes to instruct, it was very straight forward to solve the problem.
