Moving Beyond the Page 6-8 – Concept 3, Unit 2, Lesson 9: African Culture
So after completing the South American Culture and Asian Culture lessons, we moved on to Africa, the last in the series. This went fairly quickly as AA worked his way around the Google Docs software much more quickly. He pretty much enjoyed all the aspects of doing the guidebook in Africa, specially when it comes to the end and he writes the special things about the continent: It has a lot of diamonds, it is the only continent in the world located in the 4 hemispheres, it has the largest desert in the world.
Overall, this project served two purposes very well. He learned interesting facts about 3 continents: Africa, Asia and South America; and he kept practicing how to use Google Docs. I think this skill is really a very handy one!
